Interview Icebreakers

Looking to switch things up in your next interview? Try using this question when you need to ask about specific skills/knowledge: "Y is a major component of this role. Can you tell me about a project that you worked on which leaned heavily on Y? What role did you play, and what were your results?" Why it works: This question helps you to directly assess a skill that is related to the open position, instead of hoping that a candidate will offer up the information themselves.
